It is a little bit of a pain to import the files later because it is one multichannel wav file in 4 gb chunks, but it does have the advantage of having transport controls available from the tablet. Ive seen that card on reverb/ ebay etc for about $130. Then, you multitrack it from the board, either using a laptop or whatever computer (tracks live and reaper are both great for this purpose), and/or sd card by getting the xlive card. If it’s just to have something on the video that can be lined up later, then just make an aux mix that works and leave it alone (or they can still mix the prefader mix with an ipad, and that can be tapped pre fader from several places in the chain for Each channel, although I believe it may be in pairs).

If I can get a p16m in there it will allow enough flexibility for what we need.I second the suggestion to send an line to the video booth and give them an ipad or android tablet (or with mixing station pro, a phone will work too for the full mixer) and let them mix their own prefader mix if it’s a concern for them as to what they are hearing or if it is a mix that is streaming live. The x32 mix doesnt translate well to the video booth speakers. Whats your budget and what audio are you using for the livestream now? If budget is not an issue then dante would be a solution also. On a separate computer close to x32 you can record multitrack to mixdown later, or not. If that is the case then you need to decide to bring in 1 aux send from the x32 for mono or 2 aux sends for stereo. I am not sure what your "video booth is", but I am assuming you need to bring an audio mix in to mate with a livestream video feed. If you want to be able to mix a livestream then send an out from x32 to the video both and mix it with an ipad from the booth. I haven't used the X32 but I'm sure it has ipad control over outputs.

My initial thought was to take the USB out from the x32 and be able to do a mix entirely in the box (ProTools system) and have a separate mix from FOH in the video booth, while also having the added benefit of recording everything. Im trying to figure out how to get a split for separate monitoring/recording in a video booth about 50ft away. Currently running an x32 board (only using 16 channels) for live sounds at a church. Im hoping someone can give me some ideas. There are some selections that benefit from replacing the live stereo tracks but not as many as I originally thought would be necessary. As a side note my original plan was to multi-track the audio and dump it in the Davinci Resolve edited video after two mixing. I planned this system to enable live music video/audio capture but I am not in a position to advise anyone that is operating gear that I know little or nothing about. 50 or 100 ft between the desk and the camera recorders have never presented a problem for me. The GH4 & GH5 both have Atomos recorders and I run a stereo XLR from the audio desk to a Mini TRS that interfaces with the video recorders. I run a two camera video system for capturing live performances.
(I also have a Digigrid/LV1 system that I will occasionally bring out for some big shoots however 79 years of age hauling a bunch of gear is not as much fun as it was years ago so I am glad to work with a small stage box and I-Pad when I can get away with it!)
It is necessary to choose one or the other: they will not function simultaneously. The 32 channel multi-track streaming option direct to a DAW is available on the rear of the desk. I am not familiar with the X32 desk, however my A&H QUSB provides either a flash drive stereo capture or 16 channels of Multi-track USB external hard drive capture.
